The best advice I could give to an upcoming eighth grader would be to listen to all of your teachers, whether you like them or not, and do all of your homework. I know some people don't want to do so but it seriously is so important. If you pay attention and learn everything you need to it will make homework easy to complete. I would also advise you to get involved! Join clubs and sports; it makes middle school life so much easier because you can meet so many new people and have fun doing it. Academically, eighth grade is much harder than seventh grade to be perfectly honest. But if you follow my advice, I know you'll do great.
My social advice for you would be to not have a boyfriend or girlfriend. Haha, there's just unnecessary drama that goes on with that. In some cases, having a partner is totally fine, but usually you don't need it, and you're only in eighth grade and have so much time ahead of you for that stuff. I would also say to not start any rumors or lie to your friends, and be nice to everyone even your enemies!
By taking my advice you will have a GREAT time in eighth grade! Good luck and enjoy it while it lasts!
this is funny!
