Last Exorcism Movie Review
Friday, February 18 was an intensely chilling night. Fighting to open my eyes long enough to get a glimpse of the pale, deadly body of Nell. It was hard to sit through two hours of pure horror, as the reverend fought against the demon soul of Nell's. The movie takes place in a very small town consisted of farmland, animals, and little people. When Nell's soul is taken over by a demon, the reverend is called to come save her. The reverend, along with his cameraman and work partner travels to Nell's house. Reverend has experienced many situations in which people's mind has them convinced that the devil is them. But in this case, she really is the devil so it is overwhelming for the reverend. During the movie, Nell attacks many people, slashes her brother's face, and manages to kill a cat. At the end, you find out that Nell has been raped and has gotten pregnant by this person. The baby inside her abdomen is actually a devil baby. When Nell gives birth to her demon baby, they end up killing it by throwing the little piece of evil life into a fire. From there, it was very confusing to follow because the cameraman tries to run away, scared as heck. You see many trees and bushes as if the cameraman is sprinting through the forest, clearly out of breath. At this point it's chaos, when the camera turns, Nell's brother is there to destroy the cameraman. The camera stills and you understand that the cameraman dies. Probably the most absurd ending to this torturous film. If the director had added a more suspenseful and intense ending, this movie would have truly gave me nightmares. However, I slept like a baby and had no problem watching that movie. Overall, the Last Exorcism was a good movie but could have used some modifications.

I never saw this movie but my friends told me it was okay. Now since your review I think I'd like to give this movie a try. Your review had excellent words and was very detailed and descriptive. All together, you did a very good job summing up the movie and had a very nice review. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI agree; the ending of this movie is just terrible and does not induce nightmares in the least.
ReplyDeleteRight now, you're summarizing the whole movie, which gives away the entire plot. Instead of creating a "spoiler" by telling the audience exactly what will happen, try writing about only the first part of the movie.
